of the few charter schools on the Internet, Basehor-Linwood is
accredited by the Kansas State Board of Education. Students must

regular teachers and staff. The program offers two distinct diplomas,

program requires English, math, science, social studies, business
math, physical education, and health. The college prep program
requires English, math, science, foreign language, social studies,
physical education, health, business math, computer applications,
and multi-media presentation.
Education
is provided on a password-protected Web site. Chat rooms permit
exchanges among students and teachers. Virtual field trips are
offered. Students are expected to have an adult who will supervise
and help them with work. They must read weekly messages on an
online discussion board and read and respond to e-mail. They must
take a final exam in each course as well as State of Kansas required
tests.
